We email alerts to a group, and are shutting down our old email server and replacing it with a new one with a different server name and IP address.  I need to change this information, but cannot recall where that’s changed.  We’re Cloverleaf 5.6.

Does anyone know where that configuration is?

In the options menu, site preferences menu item, alert configuration tab.

You can specify your SMTP server here, but we use “localhost” and then specify our mail server in the sendmail configuration on the Cloverleaf server. On Redhat Linux this is in /etc/mail/sendmail.cf under “Smart” relay host.

            Hi all,

I have to send an email alert to a mailbox setup at a partner hospital and the box happens to be in a different domain than we normally send to.  I’m told I need to setup a smarthost of some sort so the messages know where to go.  I’m currently using the Tclmail 2.0 package on Windows 2008 R2.  Does anyone know if this configuration of a smart host can be done under tclmail or if this is sendmail specific is there another solution?

            Thanks,

            Nick
