I have been using the command-line commands to start and stop threads.  Are there any commands to place the threads in a HOLD status and another one to RELEASE?

      Thanks!

          Jerry,

I think the phold_obd command Puts the OB Thread on Hold and the prls_obd Releases the Outbound thred.

There is more information in the Refernce Guide in Help on the IDE.

If you are having trouble finding the command line syntax for a command, (or can’t decipher the output from doing a ‘hcicmd -h’), a little trick you can do is display the ‘Command & Engine Ouptut’ window in Netmonitor, then perform the desired action on a given thread.  You’ll see the actual command executed in the window and can use that to help with the syntax.

            Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help everyone! Great information and tips!  I have things working almost the way I want them to.  I have one more question.  How do I set the site inside tcl?

Im an in an AIX environment, so generally I create a shell script that sets the environment and then runs the tcl script which is in a seperate file.
