      Hello,

I want to be able to stop a thread from the command line (to eventually create a batch file to do this).  I am using v5.3 on Win2003.  From the documentation,  I found the following:

      hcicmd -p test -c ‘conn_1 pstop’

where test is the process and conn_1 is the thread.  When executing this from a command line, I get ‘invalid command format’ displayed.

Is there another way of doing this, as the documentation is not of any help.

      Thanks,

      Matt

          Hi Matt,

I just wanted to ask which quotes you used (the `or the ‘) but then I noticed that we use double quotes in our stop-thread-command:

          hcicmd -p adt_in -c “ish_sap_adt pstop”

So have a try with the double quotes.

PS We’re on HP-UX, but I assume the hcicmd should also work on Win2003.

The double quotes did the trick, although I thought I tried that before posting.  I must have added or removed an extra space.

            Thanks,

            Matt
