Cloverleaf on TruCluster Tru64 OS

Hello All,

We are currently running Cloverleaf 3.5.2 on Tru64 v4.0d using ASE manager for the cluster software. With this configuration, the OS is loaded on each server.

We are going to upgrade to Cloverleaf v3.8.1 on Tru64 v5.1a and wish to use the TruCluster configuration. With this configuration, the O/S is loaded on only one set of disks and shared by all servers and sites.

We have been unable to get any real information on whether this new configuration will work with the Cloverleaf v3.8.2 version. Has anyone out there, who is using the Tru64 OS, tried this cluster configuration? If so, were there any problems with it that we should know about? Is it even possible to use this configuration?    😕

OK, let’s try a different approach. Anyone who is running Tru64 Unix, would you please email me with whether or not you use a cluster environment and if you do, what is your cluster software?

We run Cloverleaf 3.8.1P on Tru64 4.0g in a non-clustered environment.  Currently it seems to be running fairly well, but as I understand it this is the last Tru64 version supported.  We are investigating HA options, probably looking at either HP/UX or Linux.  I really like Tru64 and feel that it would probably work as well as any other OS or better, but the lack of support will probably drive us to another OS….
