We just setup a new RHEL VM that will be the new home for all our CL activities. Our corporate Unix and Cloverleaf guru mentioned that back in 2012 Cloverleaf recommended to set ‘syncfiles=1’ in the Raima database manager configuration file to prevent message loss in the event of an outage. This has a pretty big negative impact on throughput.
I am wondering if anyone else running RHEL has any experience with this setting or has heard any official word from Infor about need to set or not set this?
