Cloverleaf FTP via FTP proxy (Checkpoint style)

Hi all,

I was challenged to configure an outbound FTP thread that has to use a Checkpoint style FTP proxy. We tried all to configure the proxy by using the CURLOPT_PROXY. We also tried the CURLOPT_PROXYTYPE in all available flavours, none of which did the trick.

Has anyone had to master this challenge? Were you successful? What did you do that did the trick? Please advise.

We found a solution for accessing a FTP server via Checkpoint-style proxy:

– Enter the proxys address and port under FTP Host Information on the tab FTP Options

– The username to be entered in the Login field has to be of the form FTPUser@ProxyUser@FTPHost:Port

– The password has to be of the form FTPPassword@ProxyPassword
