We are trying to run 6.2 ( a new installation ) and the first newly created TCPIP tread shut down upon receiving a new message. No ack sent back.

Checked our log and message  in the log saying

tcp :read:ERR /0:TCP_IP_conn_1_tcp1:02/28/2017 07:10:47] Failed to malloc read buffer of 942682121 bytes

      PANIC: “0”

PANIC: Calling “pti” for thread TCP_IP_conn_1_tcp1

Can anybody seeing the same issue.

      Thank you in advance.

That looks like a pretty large message.

Could it be the message exceeds some system limit for memory allocation (by system I mean O/S)?

So the issue might be a system setting needs to be changed or maybe the sending system is sending an erroneous message (too long)?

          Just some guesses here.

Is that 900M? I can tell you we can’t get a 300M message (file) into an inbound thread when Recovery is turned on. That is in 6.1.2.

Thank you. I am going to check, but most likely it is not 900M.

I am having the very same issue with the 6.2 installation this morning. However, mines is on an outbound thread and there are no messages in recovery.
