I hope someone posts the list of new features & enhancements for version 6, even if things may change / be excluded before we reach GA. I think we all understand that nothing stated here will be interpreted as a promise to deliver.

This post is to list things that may not have been identified as included for 6.0, or to clarify items that have been suggested. I’m also including some items I heard at the conference – although – my memory was really bad and I don’t recall all the audience suggestions, so I hope people will chime in here to reiterate them.

      1) SMAT Reporting Utility – (a) option to reload current smat file, (b) ability to select from a most-recently-used list of smat files, (c) ability for single updater, multiple readers of a smat file.

      2) Net Monitor – (a) New ‘Start With Hold’ option for threads – I sure like the Hold function, but quite often, especially in production problem situations, we need to start a thread without allowing a single message to flow, and then release them as appropriate, (b) (does it make sense to have a Hold function for Inbound threads???)

          Peter,

The ‘Start with Hold’ option is available in Cloverleaf 5.8.4.  It also allows you to release just n number of messages at a time as well.

I would like to see extensible indexes for SMAT files.
