Cloverleaf 6.0 Install….

All,

My desktop flaked out on me.  As a result, I needed to uninstall and reinstall the Cloverleaf client.    The uninstall went fine but when I tried to reinstall, it kept telling me that Cloverleaf was already installed.

Am I missing something like a registry in a file somewhere?

I just went through this with 6.1 and had to remove some registry keys in order to get it to install.  Don’t remember exact keys…  Possibly might want to check the knowledge base on infor extreme or open a ticket….

Should not be a registry issue. I had that error message, but probably a different cause. I had installed it wrong. Installations of major releases (6.1) are different than installations of updates (6.1.2). I had set the environment variable incorrectly to use the patch-level (cis6.1.2) instead of the release level (c:healthvisioncis6.1integrator). Don’t know if this helps your problem.

Thanks guys.   I’m trying to run the CISSuite.bat for 6.0.   I’ve set me CL_INSTALL_DIR to “cloverleaf/cis6.0” but it still thinks the client is already installed.

Update….here is what Infor stated I should do.  Seems to be installing now:

Make a copy of your registry or make an update to your emergency disk

Open Regedit (Warning!!! use regedit at your own risk.) and delete the following (version specific) key:

Delete this registry entry for CIS6.0:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREInforCIS6.0 (32-bits Windows)

Or

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeInforCIS6.0 (64-bits Windows).
