Is there anyone familiar with the configuration required to be able to run 5.6.2 in an Active/Active Cluster with two installations running in Solaris 10’s Zones architecture so that failing either Zone over to the other node will not result in any licensing issues.  Our understanding is that the relocated Zone should assume the HostID of the node it is moved to, and that a license set would need to be applied at the time of failing over.  Just wondering if anyone else has already forged this path.

We’re in a slsightly different enviroment (HPUX moving to Linux High-Availability) and will be having separate licenses for each box. Each physical server requires its own license. Unless it has changed, the license key is associated with the primary NIC address for the box it’s in, not any of the IP addresses involved.
