          Is GDBM still shipped post 5.8 ?

            Hello Robert,

            No, GDBM has been completely replaced by SQLite from 5.8.1.0 forward.

            It may need some getting used to, but I think you will find that SQLite is easier to use anyway.

              Marc is correct – also note that if you do have existing GDBM interfaces, we provide an upgrade/conversion path for GDBM->SQLite.
