We are running Cloverleaf 5.8 on a Windows 2003 Server.  We need Cloverleaf to drop files into a folder on a network file share.  As the hciuser account is a local account, we can’t assign permissions for the network fileshare to this account, so we were getting a permission denied error when attempting to write to this network directory.  Our programmer has developed his own strategy using a custom coded program for transferring the files, but I’m sure there must be an easier way of doing this.

I guess one potential solution I had in mind would be for the hciuser to be a domain account as opposed to a local one.  Is this possible?  If not, does anyone have any suggestions for accomplishing this task?

      Thanks,

      Mario

          Hi

The idea with the Domain Account is the right one. Just create a standard domain User and put him in the local adminstrator Group. Then change the service User to this User and it will work.

We do this at all of our customers when running on Windows.
