      Greetings Clovertech Forum community:

We are running dual roots 5.7R2 and 5.8R4 right now and are looking at justifying applying the Revision 5 patch files to the 5.8 Integrator Release.

We would be interested in your experience with this patch in your production environment.

For reference we are running the integrator on AIX6.1 TL6 SP5.

      Thank you.

Bob, we installed Rev5 last week on AIX5.3. There is an issue discovered with the re-loading of SMAT files. The reload does not refresh the file. Closing SMAT and opening a new SMAT session does refresh. This has been escalated to Lawson development support. No other issues have been discovered. We installed Rev5 to address a hcitpstest issue. See release notes for Rev5. Sorry if I am too late responding but others might be interested.

            Greetings,

Late is ok – no need to apologize.

We have recently applied the Rev 5 patch to our 5.8 engine to eliminate the SMAT resend issue of resending outbound files from an inbound context (a rare event in our shop but does need to occur at times).

When you say” reloading SMAT” are you talking about the IDE SMAT tool?

That is you have a SMAT file opened in the IDE which the engine is actively writing messages?

Just want to be clear on your issue so that we can watch for this problem too.

            Thanks.

The following Issue for us is why we want to go on Cloverleaf 5.8 Rev5:

The engine is unable to process 100000 bytes of HL7 message (6647)

              Description

When processing a file with exactly 10K bytes (using any protocol), the message could disappear and never get processed.

Placing the 10K file in the directory for processing will cause it to be picked up and deleted. Larger or smaller files process without a problem.

              This issue no longer occurs.
