      Greeting Cloverleafers!!!

We are using Eclipsys SCM and I am trying to modify a order status from “Active” to “Performed” or “In Progress”. But no matter what I put in ORC.5 or OBR.25 the status always says “Active”. Can anyone with related xp help?

We are using Eclipsys SCM here but I’m not quite sure what you are asking.  Is this an inbound message from the EKG system or out to the EKG system?  Are you saying you can’t get it to change in Cloverleaf?  If so, then please provide a little more detailed information.  If you are saying you can’t get it to change within Eclipsys, then that is a question for their support staff to answer.

Hope I can be of more help….

I finally figured it out, by emptying OBR.25 I was then be able to update the order status with ORC.5. I really don’t know why and would be happy if someone can give me an idea, thanks for all your input!!!   😛

The only thing I can think of is that maybe you are using Pathcopy’s at the beginning of each segment and then manipulating only the needed parts of the segment.  If you are moving something to OBR before the OBR Pathcopy, then the Pathcopy will overwrite any previous data manipulation to an OBR field.

Do you have your xlate available?

Yes Tom I am using Pathcopy and that was the first action in my Xlate. My question actually was, why SCM needs OBR.25 empty to update order status?

                Thanks~

That would be a question for Eclipsys to answer.  Have you tried asking them?
