Is anyone calling a xlate from a TCL procedure?
I once invoked the Xlate tester via Tcl (can’t recall system or exec) in order to Xlate a file to another file without starting the engine.
It was a one-time thing.

I was thinking about that. Maybe setting the hcixlttest to a variable and pass in [msgget $mh]. We will see if that works.
I am not sure that will work. I think the testing tool expects to be pointed to a file as input and optionally create a file as output.

What is it you’re trying to accomplish?
Why might it be desirable for you to call an Xlate from a Tcl procedure?
Are you talking about a Tcl procedure called from a shell (outside of Cloverleaf)?
