      Hi,

I am a really new newbie, so I was hoping that I could get some help from those cloverleaf experts out there. Just came back from the Cloverleaf level 1 training but still need some help.

Our McKesson radioloy manager is currently sending appt dates in ORC9 and order dates in ORC7 but our transcription company needs to receive the order date in ORC9. How can I flip those values? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks

          Hi Bashirat,

Do you already have an Xlate in place? If so, then you will have to add 2 COPY statements to copy inbound ORC.9 to outbound ORC.7 and inbound ORC.7 to outbound ORC.9. You will have to make sure though that you are at the right place in the iteration, assuming there can be more than one ORC-segment in the message.

If you don’t have an Xlate, you can make one yourself. Or you could make a tcl-proc for this.

To be safe: make a copy of the Xlate already in place and play around with it, using the testing tool to see what the result is of your changes. Best way to learn is by just doing it.

            Hi Robert,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, there was already an xlate for that particular thread, so I copied it and started working with that and I was able to copy ORC7 into ORC9. I just needed that push in the right direction. Thanks again
