Automatic Process Log Cycling

Hi folks,

What’s the difference between:

– Network Monitor > Options menu> Site Preferences Log History > Maximum Logs Total Size

Setting this doesn’t do anything even though the process log exceeded the set threshold.

Anything need to be bounced for this to take effect?

 

– NetConfig > Process menu > Automatic Log Cycling

This works but entails setting for each process and need to restart the process.

Network Monitor > Options menu> Site Preferences entails bouncing the whole site – including the Lock and Monitor daemons.

 

NetConfig > Process menu entails bouncing the process that you set the options for.
