Amcom connection

    Has anyone out there connected with Amcom phone system. The connection works fine. Until there systems close the ports. Cloverleaf sends a reconnect. The thread shows up 2 or three messages go through and them the rest hang and stay pending until both the Amcom system and the tread on the cloverleaf are stopped and started.

    All other threads on this process are running fine.

    We are on version 381 rev 6 running on Windows 2000

      We used to have that problem until Amcom upgraded their server to new hardware and software.

      Mark do you remember which server and version the Amcom was on before the upgrade?

      Where you able to make a work around that was acceptable until the upgrade?

      Can you share your troubles and fix?

      Unfortunately, I don’t remember which version we were running.  We’re running 3.5 now.  The old server was SCO Unix and the new box is Linux.

      We really didn’t come up with a work-around since the only thing that ever fixed it was to call Amcom or reboot the server.  It was easier to call Amcom.

      Sorry.  I guess that wasn’t much help.
