Alert Type: Last Receive

We are on Clov ver. 5.6, AIX, and are trying to figure out whether to use ‘delta’ or not on the Last Receive alerts.  Can someone give some detailed information on when it would be beneficial to use ‘delta’? We have over 10 sites, and while it is set up the same way on all, it will work on one site, but not another.  

Any information would be helpful.  Thank you in advance.
