      Would anyone know what happens when an Advanced Security host goes down for a planned or unplanned outage?

      Do existing users stay “logged on”? Is there any disruption to interfaces that are running?

          Did you ever get an answer to this post? I am trying to lay out a high availability setup with Advanced Security. I suspect no new IDE connections can be made except maybe the Administrator?

            Our Advanced Security Server runs on a Windows 2003 server so it goes down once a month for patching. There is no disruption to running interfaces but there is no IDE activity allowed during the outages.

              Thanks! That is what I expected. So in a DR sceanario there had better be a backup Security Server.
