We are adding an additional site to our production server. I wanted to know  if we need to add/modify any files to insure the new site fails over correctly on the Clustered Windows server. I see a file in this path: computer/data(E:)/cloverleaf/cis5.8/integrator/cluster, called cloverleafsites that looks like this:

      # Required format Sites_to_start followed by sitename seperated by a field del “|”

      # For example: Sites_to_start|site1|site2|site3|site4

      Sites_to_start|live_int_site

Do we need to add the new site

We have the same file on our clustered Windows servers. Here, that “sites_to_start” line contains the sites we start when a server boots or when a failover occurs.

Thanks Bill. Do you know if there is any other files I need to add the new site to besides the Cluster folder?

I am assuming you have used the Server Adminstrator to add the site?

Do you have any scheduled jobs that do things with the sites? e.g, we have jobs that cycle/archive the SMAT for each site.

              What about backup jobs?

But, if the new site is there and it is working fine on one node of the cluster, all we would have to do is add it to the clustercloverleafsites.ini file.
