Activation of a new route

When adding a new route to the route detail of a thread, does the route become effeective by bouncing the thread or do I have to bounce the process?

You’ll need to bounce the process to activate the new route.

Mark is correct you have to bounce the process.  The reason for this is that the translation thread performs the routes but there isn’t a thread control for the translation thread.  The only way to stop it is to stop the process.
