Accessing EDI envelope fields in a translation

I’m doing an X12/EDI 810/855 translation to an XML formatted iDoc for SAP (joy) and I need to access some vendor information that is in the ISA and GS segments of the message.

  They are in the metadata (assuming you used the ‘split’ proc provided with Cloverleaf or some other mechanism).
  
  I have a xltate proc that gets that information.
