64 bit RHEL vs 32 bit RHEL

We want to move our Cloverleaf servers to RHEL but from what I see in the specs it says we need to use 32 bit. Is this so?

What we want to do is:

1. move our 5.3 Cloverleaf version to the new server and run it as is

2. migrate to 5.6 or 5.7 once we get over there.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

  Cloverleaf is a 32-bit application. It will run successfully as a 32-bit app in a 64-bit o/s.

  We finally got our Linux boxes. The Cloverleaf app will not install. The version of Java that is embedded in the 5.3 version does not contain logic for the 64 bit box. Other than start editing Java, any suggestions?
  
  The first error we see when we try to run ./linux.bin – console is
  
  Error: can’t find libjava.so.
  
  Running from an x window we see no errors and install shield never starts.

  Call McKesson. If they can’t resolve it, they’ll just turn around and call Tech Support for you.
