Anyone running on 6.0 Windows?  Trying to get feedback on upgrading to 6.0 vs. 5.8.5.  Thanks!

          Mike,

We recently upgraded to 5.8.5, but would’ve have jumped to 6.0 if we hadn’t been so far into our testing cycle with 5.8.5.  There are alot of nice new bells & whistles in 6.0, so if you are just looking into upgrading, I would consider looking at going straight to 6.0.

          My $.02 worth.

FYI – We are running AIX, so I’m not sure if there is any downside with Windows (other than it’s Windows).

          Hope this helps.

I have the Cloverleaf 6.0 Client installed on Windows 7 x32 bit and so far so good but too early for any of us to have used the IDE much.

I have the Cloverleaf 6.0 server installed under AIX and upgraded that OS recently to AIX 6.1 TL8 SP2.

I’ve yet to do a hcirootcopy of one of our Cloverleaf 5.6rev2 sites to Cloverleaf 6.0, but I’m getting close to doing that.

I had been preparing to upgrade to Cloverleaf 5.8.5 but decided to skip to Cloverleaf 6.0 after attending the Infor V6 roadshow.

Normally I avoid versions that end in zero, so this will be my first time to upgrade to a version of Cloverleaf that ends in zero.

We were planning to upgrade to 5.8.5 but are going straight to 6.0. I heard about it at last year’s Infor. Then they had demos at the road show in Chicago that a colleague and I attended.

We have had it installed on our test box since it was released but other projects have kept us from actually testing it. Soon, hopefully.

Oh, yes. We will be running it on Win Server 2008. 64-bit, I think.

Sounds like nobody’s live yet on 6.0 Windows.

I suspect that no one is on 6.0 (Windows or other) just yet.

We have gone live with 6.0, but on RHEL 32-bit.  So far all is functioning well.

We have a lot of clients on 6.0 on Windows and on other platforms. There are no major issues to my knowledge. The database protocol is a new feature with improvements coming soon. The BOX feature is awesome.
