5.7 client only install on windows 7

I have a new windows 7 desktop PC and when I try to install the Cloverleaf client I never get prompted for the client only option….the entire Cloverleaf suite gets intalled. Has anyone experienced this and what is the fix? I previously had the client on a Windows XP PC. We have version 5.7 running on AIX.

  On your CD does it say Client Only for Windows 7? It should say client only.

  Thanks, Dean. Yes it does say Client only but I have since found out that we need a new install disk for windows 7

  Greetings,
  
  To install the 5.7 client on a Windows 7 PC, you need to run
  
  the setup.exe in XP SP3 compatibility mode. Find the setup.exe
  
  and right click the properties and select compatibity mode tab.
  
  Specify XP SP3 and do OK.
  
  Then run it.
  
  Otherwise it thinks you are trying to install the host on your PC.
  
  Hope this helps you out.

  I received the windows 7 install CD’s from support and the install was perfect. I did not have to follow Bob Richardson’s steps.
