When we wnet from 3.5.5 to 5.2, we needed to traverse through 3.8.1.
The primary reason is there were changes to some configuration objects for 3.8.1 which 5.x relied on to be in place.
Also, if you have any Tcl using translit, you will want to change them as translit has problems. There may have been some other Tcl things (changing release of Tcl), but I don’t recall them.
