We just migrated from 3.8.1 and SMAT was in ASCII for these threads on that version. Elizabeth, I didn’t think it would matter either, but like Jim says, you lose the ability to edit.
And wouldn’t you know it, I’m developing a new interface now and I typically use the edit function to model the msg.
