The HTTP 500 error means the receiving CGI script (ASP, Perl, etc.) on the web server is malformed (has a syntax error, or processing error) so the problem is likely not on the Cloverleaf side, but on the web server side.
BTW, HTTP 1.1 is backward compatible to previous version(s).
