I recently had the same error, but under different circumstances: I added some threads to an already crowded process and after a while the process dumped with ‘Unable to realloc xxxx bytes’. The solution was to split this process into several smaller ones and all has been running fine now.
Our Dutch supplier asked us to check the system parameters: look at the Installation Guide/HP-UX Scratch Install (in our case)/System Requirements/System Parameter Settings.
I also checked the archives and noticed that the only posts on this subject were done by HP-UX installations. Is this a specific HP-UX problem?
We run CL5.2.1 on HP-UX 11.00.
