      Hi All,

We just converted to 6.2 and wondering how to utilize the globalVariable.ini in the NetConfig. Thinking this was as simple as calling the “Name” from the globalVariables.ini file but does not seem to be working. Receiving a “Cannot find Host …”. Is there a specific format to call these variables? Intent for passing into NetConfig is to keep same thread properties across environments (prod/staging/test). Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated.

      Thanks,

      SS

Hi Sean, global variables are referenced with “$$” prefix.

So if you’ve got a GV named “host” and want to use that as the hostname, you’ll put “$$host” in the thread protocol configuration.
