Keystore Directory Error

I have a keystore set on my sever/inbound thread and I get a successful validation but now when I try to start the thread I’m getting this error

Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /clover/archive/home/hci/.keystore (A file or directory in the path name does not exist.)

Does there have to be a file with a .keystore extension sitting in that directory?

My keystore file is a .jks file and it is sitting in a folder in the site that has the thread.

Has anyone seen this error and know how to resolve?
