Building Direct Links to Global Monitor

Does anyone know how the GM gets the following information that it builds in the URL?

id=

sid=

pid=

tid=

I am seeing if I can build direct links from one of our home grown HTML pages to the Global Monitor without the person having to find the information themselves.
