deleting multiple segments with tcl

genericHl7.tcl has a deleteHL7Segment in it.  I want to make the same proc but have it take a list of possible segments, not just one.  each time I make a foreach with either my segList or my deleteSegList I return multiple messages.  Anyone have a proc like this?
