I’m new to Cloverleaf and have been reviewing some Tcl procs I inherited from a retired Cloverleaf programmer. An API function named
Code: hcitbllookup
is frequently used. Its purpose seems clear enough; but I can’t find this function anywhere in the Cloverleaf API docs posted in this thread.

Is this a deprecated function? Is is my documentation deficient?

  Hi Paul,
  
  This command is simply a method of using a defined translation table to perform a table lookup, essentially emulating the TABLE function that is used in an Xlate. You can search the Cloverleaf documentation for ‘tbllookup’ as it is the same command.

  Ah, so it seems hcitbllookup is simply an alias for tbllookup. I did indeed find tbllookup in the docs.
