If it is an outbound thread then the server is not listening. The server probably needs to be started (by server I mean the system the ob thread is trying to connect to as a client).
If it is an inbound thread then Cloverleaf is the server and is waiting for the Client (the foreign system) to connect.
If the thread were Up it would be green (if outbound assuming there are no messages queued – otherwise some other color) and it would say ‘Up’.
If a inbound thread then (assuming no acknowledgments are queued) the thread will most always be green but also say ‘Up’.
Either the process log or the NetMonitor Thread Status can show any protocol issues which may give more information as to why the connection is in an opening state.
