Network Monitor settings question

I have a question about Network Monitor settings in Cloverleaf version 5.8.1.  We have so many production interfaces now that we would rather have our Operations staff use the Grid tab view from now on rather than the default View tab as they monitor these interfaces.

Is there a setting to make the Grid tab be the default any time Network Monitor is called back up?  Additionally, is there a way to make it automatically sort by depth without having to right-click and select Sort and then By Depth?  And then make that Sort be from most depth to least instead of the reverse?  (Which can be manually achieved by clicking on By Depth a second time)

Basically looking for a way for Operations to have this same sorted Grid view pop up automatically rather than having to go through a few steps manually any time each Network Monitor is brought back up.
