Alerts Question

We are on CL6.0.1. Is it possible to setup multiple actions from one alert? Meaning if i have an Outbound Q alert that is set to restart the thread with the exec, can i also have it email me or do i have to create another alert for the same Outbound Q alert that then has the email action so i get an email of the restart? i’m not seeing that i can but wanted to make sure before a make a ton of alerts.

  You should be able to by simply ‘appending’ additional exec actions on the alert.

  The one script we call when a cloverleaf alert is triggered has the logic to do both cycle the thread or process and email/page.
  
  In fact, it even has some smarts in it to cycle and observe if connectivity and message flow resume over the next couple of minutes, in which case no email/page is deemed necessary.
