CAA-WS install question

      Here is a good one for all you Clovertechers.  

      On our AIX box [OSLEVEL 6.1.0.0] I’m trying to install the CAA-WS 2.0.

      The issue is, when I run the untar command [tar -xvf ‘filename’] it has a 100 character limit on the full path/filename.  

      This is causing multiple files to not have the full name that the install script is looking for.  I have contact support but so far they don’t have a resolution.

      Anyone out there have an idea?  

      Cloverleaf 6.0.2.

          Probably the easiest method is going to be to extract it on another machine and scp it across?

          Or find a version of tar that allows more than 100 characters for AIX.

          Or possibly untar it on another machine, then move the CAA/ws/samples somewhere, tar it back up, then tar the samples individually.
