Iterate OBX with 2.5.1 format

      I am having difficulty iterating on the OBX segments with HL7 2.5.1 on Cloverleaf 5.8.5.

      I don’t seem to be able to select the correct group as a base. In prior versions I could select the level above the OBX segment as a base, but with 2.5.1 I cannot, so i don’t know how to duplicate what was done on previous HL7 versions.

          Looks like the repetition isn’t at the group level in the variant you are showing. It looks like the segments under the group, 2, repeat independently of one another. So, you probably need to iterate on the Segment and use 2(0).OBX as your basis.

            That is correct. this really has nothing to do with 2.5.1 – the ADT message structure has the OBX as a repeating and optional segment as far back as 2.2.

            One way I use to check my sanity is to run the inbound messages through the HL/7 Tester and let the display tell me where the repetitions are.
