Has anyone encountered a problem with Internet Explorer v11 and not being able to view HELP from the IDE (using IDE 6.0)?  I recently upgraded from IE 7 to IE 11.   Wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there are configuration settings that need to be changed.

          FYI

Have remediated the problem by uninstalling IE 11.   I am now back on IE 8 and can view the Help Documents in the IDE (6.0).

            Hi Felicie,

I also had a problem with IE 11 on Windows 7 and the Cloverleaf 5.8 GUI help that runs in Internet Explorer when I was finally forced to upgrade the browser.

            I changed the URL to

            file://workstationhostname/c$/healthvision/cis5.8/integrator/docs/cloverleaf.htm

and added that URL to the trusted sites zone and the compatibility view settings (it gives IE a “domain” to insert).

It’s a stupid workaround, and allowing the workstation into the trusted sites is a security hole.  And it should be done with a dedicated windows share, instead of the admin share…

I’m curious to know what others have done to circumvent the problem with the ActiveX control?

I had a problem displaying “help” with Cloverleaf 6.1 and IE 8 on Windows 7.

When I switched to IE11,  I haven’t had any problems.

                Dear,

Use Firefox, Opera or Chrome and dished the IE nightmare…

                Regards,

                Yves
