Upgrade to Cloverleaf 6 – comments on server types

We are upgrading from v5.7 to 6.0 and would like comments on whether to go to a Windows operating system with a virtual server or stick with a unix server w/RedHat.

  We’re running 5.8 on a virtual server with Red Hat. We’re happy with that configuration, and we plan on keeping it that way when we upgrade to 6.0.
  
  I’m pretty sure I’d rather have a physical Linux server than a virtual Windows server. To me the OS is more important than whether it is physical or virtual.
