Alert type "forward count"

Hi everyone,

I need an alert that monitors the amount of messages going through a thread during some time interval. In my case it should monitor whether or not a thread has received more than 1000 message during a one hour interval on workdays between 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Can anybody confirm that I use the correct settings? See the attachment.

  We have a Transactions Per Second alert configured that measures how many messages per second has gone through the translation thread in a process. Keep in mind this is a translation thread count.
  
  This has worked well for us – see my attached picture.
  
  In our case we are measuring if the count exceeds 4 transactions per second. Note in our case we have 7 outbound threads so the value “28” is the sum of “4 X 7 threads” over a 60 second time period.
  
  Our action is a Notify to our Global Monitor (Infor) product and an email to our Cloverleaf support group.
  
  Note: the alert resets only when the condition clears not when you cycle the process or threads.
