We upgraded AIX from 6.1 to 7.1

      Running Cloverleaf 5.7

When I try and start the daemons I get the following error:

      Starting hcimonitord

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program hcimonitord because of the following errors:

0509-150   Dependent module libtcl8.4.so could not be loaded.

             0509-022 Cannot load module libtcl8.4.so.

0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.

      hcimonitord failed to execute properly

I would not necessarily expect Cloverleaf 5.7 to run on AIX 7.1.

Did you check with Infor or the Cloverleaf 5.7 documentation to make sure Cloverelaf 5.7 will run on AIX 7.1?

I thought Cloverleaf 6.0 is the first version that will run on AIX 7.1.

If it turns out that Cloverleaf 5.7 is supported on AIX 7.1, what you posted seems like the hci user environment is not being set properly.

Are you running as the hci user? Did you do a “setroot” to your installation directory? Are you using the “hcisitectl” command to start the server?

The error message sounds like your LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable isn’t set correctly, but I think that “setroot” should fix that. Russ might also be right about the version compatibility.
