I started looking at this a while back, then the decision was made that we could not use email, because there was some sensitive information that needed to be sent.
There is the ib-email protocol, but it requires the email subject to be in the correct format, otherwise it leave the message on the server.
From the cloverleaf documentation for ib-email:
Quote:
Subject
The Subject must be IBSite[siteName],IBThread[threadName] where siteName and ThreadName are the recipient
I thought I would first review the ib-email protocol. What version of Cloverleaf are you running. Where is the ib-email protocol located? Is it an add-on? I have 5.7, 5.8, and 6.0.x.
I have set up the upoc with the tcl code. I extract the subject as the action and the userinfo from the body and place them into a vrl. The Action field is used to route the message. Works very well so far. Would like to see ib-email still…
Thanks for sharing…It definitely reduces the research time….
I didn’t think about the licence for that. It comes under the Intelligent Health Broker licence (cl-aom-ihb), There is also a separate install for IHB 2.2
We’ve used it under 5.6, and 5.8. It also works for 6.0, but it sounds like the IHB is being depreciated though and replaced with CAA WS, but I’m not sure that email is part of CAA WS.
The tcl script is probably the best option as it allows emails that don’t follow the correct subject naming convention to be used/deleted as well.
