      Well, I have a thread (server) with an ever-growing pqxd.

      Here is the story..

      We had ORU_outbound_thread -> some_thread

      We deleted the route to some_thread (this removed xlate, and there are no longer any tps trying to route/translate to some_thread)

      Now, on ORU_outbound_thread, I have a pxqd to some_thread that is getting deeper and deeper.

      So…

      How do I clear a pxqd?

      Why is this still queuing up if the route has been deleted?

      and.. help!

      Thanks!

          I seem to recall having a similar experience a long time ago. It resulted from doing things out of sequence. Did you delete some_thread while you still had messages in the Recovery Database with some_thread as their destination? If so, a couple options you could try:

          (1) Manually delete the messages from the recovery db.

          (2) Rebuild the route and destination thread and let them flush out.

            Ah, indeed I did delete the route while still having messages in the recovery db.

            Thank you for the response Chris. I bet this gets us squared away.
