      has anyone ever seen the following in the logs: read returned error 34 (Result too large)

      We had an upgrade done on something that sends inbound ORMs and i happened to find that in the logs. Never seen it before so not real sure what i’m looking for.

          Kevin,

          Try turning up the EO Config to see if you can determine if it is the engine issuing that.

          I seem to recall seeing that kind of error in the past (not necessarily Cloverleaf) when doing I/O and having exceeded some sort of system I/O limit.

          However the message is so general it is difficult to tell how it was generated or why.

          Was there any other information on the log line the error message exists?

          What Operating System are you using? What release of Cloverleaf?

          In this Integration is ther any Tcl, Perl, Java, or any other language code being used? Any ODBC or JDBC?

            The sending side kept going up and down and there was no message that came across that would coincide with the error and i havent seen it since. We are on CL 5.4.1, running HP-UX. We do have a Validation type tclproc on the IB Data but it’s been there for a long time but the setup isnt out of the ordinary from all our other IB threads.
