I am looking for help from someone who has been working on sending the Immunization Registry information from Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) to Cloverleaf & then out to the http site for Missouri. I believe I need to find the ClnMgrToVXU elink translator but I am struggling to find the translator. Any help would be appreciated as we prepare to attest soon.

Not really a Cloverleaf question… But I’ll be neighborly and try to help.

That translator is in our eLink SIM install. My colleague who set that up originally said you might have to be on a fairly recent version of SCM and eLink and SIM to find it. He mentioned SCM 5.5 SP1, but we didn’t check that for sure.

Could you ask your collegue if they were able to load that themselves or if SCM had to load it for them? We aren’t finding it in the eLink console and we are on SCM 5.5FP1 and eLink 4.7FP1.

Allscripts helped the first time but we have done it since then. The translator was delivered as part of Sunrise Integration Module (SIM). If you have SIM, you probably have it. If not, you might have to special order it from Allscripts.

Probably best to go ahead and contact Allscripts.

      Hi Diana,

How far did you get with your implementation?

We are on the same boat as you…we have SCM 5.5 FP1 HFRU8 and eLink 4.7 FP1 Build 1646.  This elink sends to our Cloverleaf 5.8.4. Do you know if that translator, “ClnMgrToVXU” is necessary?  We were thinking of bypassing that and sending directly from ISS to Cloverleaf.

“ClnMgrToVXU” is required in your eLink if you are going to pull the Immunization messages out of SCM. It takes care of getting most of the extra message info needed for submission to your state. A good reference SCM v5.5 document for this is in Allscripts Client Support Portal    Article 000027201/KA007453  (attachment in the article), but you will want to get the ClnMgrToVXU Translator that is current to your patch level.  You setup a second translator in your eLink to watch the queue from ClnMgrToVXU and send it to Cloverleaf.

We had this translator setup and working on SCM 5.5 and when we upgraded to 6.0 it was broken by the upgrade. If I remember correctly we needed to be on a specific version of eLink to get the correct SIM translator. In 6.0 all of the eLink and ISS databases become part of the the MA database and the immunization is now done through Config Tools.

      Kevin or Ron

Once all the work is done on the SCM side and it is sent to Cloverleaf, what needs to be done on the Cloverleaf side to send the messages out?

We have all the SCM work done and the messages are in Cloverleaf but we do not know how to send them out of Cloverleaf.

      Very stumped at this moment!

      Hi Diana,

We are finally done with this project.  We get the messages from eLink to Cloverleaf and setup a raw route using the PROTOCOL:fileset-local to write to file.  Afterwords we use a product called “MoveIT” which grabs the file and sends it via FTP to the state. It runs once every 24 hrs and sends whatever has appended on that file.

I tried playing around with Cloverleafs feature to FTP, but’s its too clunky to get it to work.
