Now back in the day, Cloverleaf would do things (like stop writing to SMAT files, etc.) if the file system reached a certain full threshold, something like 85 or 90%. Also, if I remember other things would happen at a higher level, like 90 or 95%.
Charlie and I had a quick conversation and he believes this was changed from a percentage to an actual amount of space.
What I’m asking is does anyone know the particulars on how this behaves, etc.?
Why I’m asking is that we are hitting our 80% alert threshold, however have 75GB allocated, so about 14 GB free, and it doesn’t seem feasible to ask our server team for more space at this time, because it seems to be wasted.
