I am new to Cloverleaf but have found this forum very valuable!  My issue is that I have created a route between two threads, the first is an incoming thread the second is an outgoing thread.  My issue is that in my outgoing thread SMAT file I see a message from the incoming thread( Good 🙂 )  but also occasionally see the same message being sent from the outgoing thread to itself (bad 🙁 ).  Has anyone else seen this issue?  It is hosing up the queue as the message that is being inter thread sent is not getting an ack as it is to itself.  I have already checked the routes for the outbound thread and there are none.  Solutions?

Are you trying to route replies from the second system back to the first?

If not then you might need to set the outbound thread to “outbound only”.

That is correct.  I am trying to route replies/acks (specifically AAs) back into cloverleaf.

Anytime the outgoing thread has to resend a message to the destination, you will see this.  Cases where this could happen: thread is bounced after message send and before ack received, message sent and ack not received and you have it set up to wait replies and resend if fail.

Other case too I’m sure, but what you are seeing is normal and not a problem.

              Hope this helps,

It does very much.  Thanks for the explanation.
